About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly motivated Apprentice Mechanical Engineer to join their established engineering team in Edinburgh . This apprenticeship offers a structured pathway to gain practical experience and theoretical knowledge in mechanical engineering disciplines. You will work alongside experienced engineers, contributing to projects from concept through to completion. This role is crucial for developing the next generation of engineers, providing hands-on training in a challenging yet supportive environment, with a strong emphasis on safety and precision engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of mechanical components and systems.
- Learn to use CAD software for creating and modifying technical drawings.
- Support the manufacturing and assembly processes, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Conduct basic testing and analysis of mechanical parts and prototypes.
- Participate in site visits and inspections as required.
- Help maintain engineering documentation and records accurately.
Requirements
