About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and hands-on Apprentice Mechanical Engineer to join their engineering division in Bristol . You will be involved in various stages of the engineering process, from design support and drafting to assisting with testing and fabrication. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and systems using CAD software.
• Support engineers in creating technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.
• Help with the assembly, testing, and validation of prototypes and equipment.
• Participate in workshop activities, including fabrication and machining under supervision.
• Learn to identify and resolve mechanical issues encountered during projects.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and organized engineering workshop environment.

Requirements

• A strong aptitude for mathematics and physics.
• A keen interest in mechanical engineering principles and design.
• Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Must be able to work full-time at our Bristol facility.
