This role is hands-on, involving the expert pruning, removal, and maintenance of trees in urban and rural environments, prioritizing safety and the health of the trees. Key Responsibilities

• Perform tree pruning, trimming, and shaping to maintain tree health, safety, and aesthetics.
• Safely dismantle and remove hazardous or unwanted trees using climbing techniques and machinery.
• Conduct tree risk assessments and recommend appropriate management strategies.
• Operate and maintain chainsaws, chippers, rigging equipment, and aerial lift devices.
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations and best practices in arboriculture.

Requirements

• Certified Arborist qualification (e.g., RFS, LANTRA, or equivalent).
• Proven experience in professional tree climbing and rigging.
• Strong knowledge of tree species, biology, pests, and diseases.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining arborist equipment.
• Valid UK driving license and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
