Architectural BIM Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a skilled Architectural BIM Coordinator to join their vibrant team based in Belfast . This role is central to the effective implementation and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across a variety of architectural projects. You will be responsible for setting up, managing, and coordinating BIM models, ensuring data integrity, and facilitating seamless collaboration among design and construction teams. The successful candidate will possess a deep technical understanding of BIM software and workflows, a commitment to promoting best practices, and a desire to work in a dynamic, office-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement BIM strategies and protocols for projects in line with client requirements and company standards.
• Create, manage, and coordinate architectural models in Revit, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project standards.
• Conduct clash detection analysis and resolve design conflicts collaboratively with project teams.
• Train and support project staff on BIM software and workflows, promoting best practices.
• Generate reports on model progress, quality, and compliance.
• Liaise with external consultants and contractors to ensure effective BIM coordination across disciplines.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or in a similar BIM-focused role.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
• Understanding of various BIM standards and protocols (e.g., ISO 19650).
• Experience with 3D modeling, clash detection, and model federation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within an office environment.
• Relevant degree or professional qualification in Architecture, Construction, or a related field.
