BIM Coordinator (Architecture)

About the Role

Our client, a forward-thinking architectural and design consultancy in Belfast , seeks a dedicated BIM Coordinator to enhance their digital design processes. This hybrid role combines on-site collaboration with the flexibility of remote work, focusing on the implementation and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) across diverse projects. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and efficiency of BIM models and data, supporting project teams and driving the adoption of best practices. This position is ideal for a technically adept individual passionate about BIM standards and their application in modern architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement BIM execution plans for architectural projects.
• Manage and maintain the project's central model and associated data.
• Coordinate BIM activities among project stakeholders, ensuring clash detection and model integrity.
• Provide technical support and training on BIM software and workflows to project teams.
• Ensure compliance with company BIM standards and project-specific requirements.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of content libraries and templates.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a BIM Coordinator or similar role within an architectural or construction environment.
• Strong technical proficiency with Revit and Navisworks.
• Good understanding of BIM standards and protocols (e.g., ISO 19650).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, particularly for remote coordination.
• Experience with federated models and clash resolution.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a hybrid team.
