About the Role

Our client, an innovative architectural practice located in the historic city of Cambridge , is seeking a creative and technically proficient Architectural Designer to join their expanding team. Key Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual designs and design development for architectural projects, ensuring alignment with client aspirations and site constraints.
• Prepare detailed drawings, renderings, and presentations using advanced architectural software.
• Collaborate with architects, consultants, and clients to refine designs and ensure technical feasibility.
• Conduct research into materials, technologies, and sustainable design strategies.
• Assist in the preparation of tender and construction documentation.
• Maintain a high standard of design quality and innovation throughout project lifecycles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related design field.
• Proficiency in Revit , AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering software (e.g., V-Ray, Enscape).
• Strong conceptual design skills and a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
• Understanding of UK building regulations and planning policies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to present design ideas effectively.
• A portfolio showcasing high-quality design work on various project types.
