About the Role

Our client, a leading architectural consultancy in Cardiff , is seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of exciting new builds and refurbishment projects across Wales . This role requires a blend of technical architectural knowledge and strong project management capabilities to ensure successful delivery from inception to completion. You will be the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle for assigned architectural projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to define project scope and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, resource plans, and risk assessments.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions proactively.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, planning regulations, and quality standards.
• Facilitate effective communication among all project stakeholders through regular meetings and reports.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Architectural Project Manager or in a similar leadership role within an architectural practice.
• A strong understanding of architectural design principles, construction processes, and contract management.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana) and BIM tools.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a demanding environment.
