About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Architectural Technician to join their established practice in Birmingham . This role is crucial in translating architectural designs into buildable technical drawings and specifications. You will work closely with architects and project managers to ensure accuracy and compliance throughout the design and construction phases. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, plans, and specifications for construction projects.
• Ensure all drawings comply with current building regulations, standards, and codes of practice.
• Collaborate with architects to resolve technical issues during the design development process.
• Coordinate with contractors and consultants to gather information and provide technical support.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and drawing registers.

Requirements

• HND or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as an Architectural Technician, ideally within a UK architectural practice.
• High proficiency in AutoCAD and a good working knowledge of Revit .
• Strong understanding of construction methods and UK building regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
