About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Architectural Technologist to contribute to their growing practice in Coventry . This role involves translating architectural designs into detailed technical drawings and specifications, ensuring constructability and compliance. You will work closely with architects and project managers, playing a key role in the technical execution of various building projects. The position offers a blend of office-based collaboration and remote working flexibility, ideal for professionals seeking a dynamic and challenging career within a respected firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents using BIM software.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant building regulations, British Standards, and health & safety legislation.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, and statutory bodies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Undertake site visits to monitor progress and address technical queries.
• Assist in the preparation of planning applications and building regulation submissions.
• Provide technical support to the design team and project managers.

Requirements

• HNC/HND or Degree in Architectural Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Architectural Technologist, ideally within an architectural practice.
• Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Revit , and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and construction methods.
• Excellent technical drawing and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, adaptable to both office and remote settings.
