Area Sales Manager - Cheltenham

Know your way around feed, fertiliser and farmgate conversations?

Can you talk livestock performance, grain prices and the weather forecast all before your first coffee of the day?

If so, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

We're looking for an Agricultural Area Sales Manager to join a highly respected, long-established agricultural cooperative, taking ownership of a well-established territory across the Cheltenham and Cotswolds region.

This is a genuine field-based role where relationships come first. You'll work alongside mixed and arable farmers, helping them improve performance, maximise opportunities and access the products and support they need to succeed.

Get off the road, onto the farm

This isn't a role spent sitting in meetings or updating spreadsheets.

It's about being out with customers, understanding their businesses, building trust and becoming the adviser they turn to when important decisions need to be made.

You'll have the freedom to manage your territory, develop opportunities and make a real impact with a business that values long-term relationships over short-term sales.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing and developing an established customer base across your territory.

• Building strong relationships with mixed and arable farmers.

• Providing practical advice on products and farm performance solutions.

• Identifying and converting new business opportunities.

• Growing market share while delivering exceptional customer service.

• Representing a trusted agricultural brand within the local farming community.

Whether you're strengthening existing partnerships or opening doors with new farming businesses, your success will come from understanding customers' needs and delivering solutions that genuinely add value.

Why Join?

The best agricultural sales professionals don't move solely for a bigger salary.

They move for better opportunities, greater autonomy and the chance to represent a business they believe in.

What's on offer:

• Established territory with significant growth potential

• High levels of autonomy and trust

• Strong support from an experienced, knowledgeable team

• Competitive salary, company vehicle and benefits package

• Long-term career progression within a stable and respected organisation

• Opportunity to work with loyal customers and a trusted agricultural brand

About You

You'll already have experience selling into the agricultural sector and understand how successful relationships are built within UK farming.

You know credibility matters more than a sales pitch.

You'll be confident discussing farming businesses, identifying opportunities and building relationships that stand the test of time.

Experience within the Midlands, Gloucestershire, Cotswolds or surrounding agricultural communities would be advantageous, but above all we're looking for someone who understands farmers and enjoys helping them succeed.

Interested?

If you're looking for a role that offers autonomy, genuine earning potential and the opportunity to become a trusted partner to farmers across the region, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today or get in touch for a confidential conversation. No pressure, no lengthy process, just an honest discussion about whether this could be your next career move.
