Job Description
Who are we?
Thames Water is the UK's largest water and wastewater company. We make a daily difference to our 15 million customers by supplying 2.6 billion litres of water through 32,000 km of pipes, keeping taps flowing and toilets flushing.
At Thames Water, every one of our actions, big and small, matters every day. Water is essential to life, so our business is always open.
Fancy a new challenge with variety?
Do you enjoy working in a team, driving high Health and Safety standards that makes you proud, driving performance of not only yourself but also your team, communicating with others at all levels, but most of all love working in an environment where every day is different, and offers you unknown challenges that puts our service as one of the key essentials to us all.
Then we could have the job for you.
With the rapidly changing environment and all the complexities this brings, working as an Area Services Manager will provide you with a wealth of different activities to sink your teeth into.
You will lead a team who will provide specialist technical support to Performance Managers across the Cotswolds, Cherwell, and Oxford areas with a particular technical specialism in maintenance to ensure that the agreed compliance, statutory inspections, and service levels are achieved now and, in the future, and enable us to drive strategic change in maintenance.
You will operate out of the site at Banbury or Witney but will visit other sites making a driving licence and car owner essential as you will need to travel throughout your working week. You will work 36 hours a week Monday to Friday, along with participating in an out of hours rota for escalations and advice as we are a 24-hour business.
If this is you, we are looking for someone to join our Thames Valley North Operations Team in Wastewater that offers a brilliant opportunity for you to establish a career with Thames Water in frontline operations.
