Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Art and Design , covering a range of techniques, materials, and theoretical concepts.
• Inspire students to develop their creativity, imagination, and critical thinking skills through artistic exploration.
• Assess student artwork and progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
• Manage the art studio environment, ensuring safety and the appropriate use of materials and equipment.
• Encourage students to explore diverse artistic styles, historical movements, and contemporary art practices.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching Art and Design at the secondary level.
• A strong portfolio or demonstrated expertise in various art and design disciplines.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate young artists.
• A passion for fostering creativity and a deep understanding of art education.
