Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality art lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4.
• Develop and implement a diverse curriculum that explores various art forms, techniques, and historical contexts.
• Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
• Create an inspiring and stimulating classroom environment that encourages creativity and experimentation.
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe and supportive space for artistic exploration.
• Organise and curate student art exhibitions and contribute to school art events.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Fine Art, Art History, or a related creative discipline.
• Experience teaching Art at the secondary level.
• Proficiency in a range of artistic media and techniques.
• Strong understanding of the national curriculum for Art and Design.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
