Assembly Engineer

Role:

Assembly Engineer

Location:  Lincoln

Working Arrangement:

Hybrid

Salary:

Up to £46

Are you an Assembly Engineer who enjoys hands-on technical work, solving problems and seeing a product come together from start to finish? This is an opportunity to join an engineering business where you can put your practical skills to use, contribute to product development and help deliver high-quality, complex systems.

The role

You’ll work on the assembly, integration and testing of mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical products, using engineering drawings and technical specifications to ensure everything is built to the required standard.

Alongside the hands-on assembly work, you’ll have the opportunity to troubleshoot technical issues, support prototype builds and work closely with design and manufacturing engineers to improve how products are built. You’ll also contribute ideas to make assembly processes more efficient, improve quality and resolve recurring problems.

This role offers variety beyond the build itself, with involvement in product testing, technical documentation and the introduction of new products into manufacture. You’ll work alongside colleagues across engineering, quality and production, giving you the chance to share your experience and influence how products are developed and delivered.

What we’re looking for:

You’ll have 3–5 years’ experience in an engineering, assembly or manufacturing environment and be confident interpreting engineering drawings, schematics and technical instructions.

You’ll bring strong practical skills, a methodical approach to fault-finding and a good understanding of assembly processes and quality standards. Attention to detail is important, as is the ability to work with others, manage deadlines and take ownership of your work.

An engineering qualification or apprenticeship would be beneficial, along with experience in areas such as electrical wiring, prototype builds, product testing or new product introduction.

This is a permanent opportunity for an Assembly Engineer who wants to apply their technical skills to complex products, take part in continuous improvement and play an active role in delivering quality engineering solutions.

We welcome diverse applicants and are dedicated to treating all applicants with dignity and respect, regardless of background
