Assembly Technician

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join their manufacturing team in Stoke-on-Trent . In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for assembling complex components and finished products according to precise specifications. Your work will directly impact the quality and reliability of the products leaving the facility. Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components and sub-assemblies according to technical drawings and work instructions.
• Perform precise fitting, joining, and fastening of parts using various tools and equipment.
• Conduct functional testing and inspection of assembled units to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
• Identify and report any defects, inconsistencies, or deviations from specifications to the supervisor.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and ensure a clean and organized workstation.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures during assembly operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Assembly Technician or in a similar assembly role within manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other assembly equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent manual dexterity.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented production setting in Stoke-on-Trent .
