Assembly Technician

About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and precise Assembly Technician to join their manufacturing team in Bradford . This role is hands-on, focusing on the meticulous assembly of components and products according to detailed specifications. You will be a vital part of the production line, contributing to the creation of high-quality goods that meet customer demands. Key Responsibilities

• Assemble components and sub-assemblies accurately according to work instructions and technical drawings.
• Perform quality checks at various stages of the assembly process to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized assembly equipment safely and effectively.
• Identify and report any defective parts or assembly issues to the production supervisor promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and housekeeping standards.
• Contribute to process improvement by suggesting ways to enhance assembly efficiency and product quality.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Assembly Technician or in a similar hands-on manufacturing role.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.
• Proficiency in using various hand and power tools relevant to assembly.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of quality control principles in a production setting.
