Assistant Building Surveyor

Your new role
Working alongside experienced Building Surveyors, you'll play a key role in delivering both professional and project-based surveying services. This is a varied position offering hands-on exposure to all aspects of Building Surveying, including:

• Building surveys and defect diagnosis
• Condition surveys and reporting
• Planned maintenance programmes
• Contract administration
• Refurbishment and improvement projects
• Dilapidations and landlord & tenant matters
• Project monitoring and stakeholder engagement
• Preparation of schedules, specifications and reports

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• A degree in Building Surveying or a related property discipline
• At least 12 months' Building Surveying experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning
• Excellent organisational skills
• Full UK driving licence
• An ambition to progress towards MRICS status
