Assistant Quantity Surveyor

An established, independently owned construction consultancy is looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join its London team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of unique projects in the leisure sector, including for aquariums and theme parks.

Working alongside an experienced team, you'll gain exposure to the full project lifecycle while benefiting from structured mentoring and support towards professional chartership.

Duties of the role will include:

Assisting with cost planning, estimating and budgeting Supporting the preparation of tender and contract documentation Carrying out valuations and cost reporting Assisting with procurement and contract administration Monitoring project costs and managing change control Attending client, consultant and contractor meetings Supporting the successful delivery of leisure and hospitality projects from inception through to completion The ideal candidate will have:

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline 1-3 years' experience within a consultancy or contractor environment Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail Excellent communication and organisational skills Ambitious and keen to progress towards MRICS chartership  On offer is a salary up to £45,000 plus benefits. The company has a modern central London office and hybrid working with 3 days a week in the office
