An established and ambitious structural engineering practice in Leicester is entering an exciting period of growth and is looking to appoint a Chartered Associate Structural Engineer to play a key role in the continued development of the business.

This is a hands-on position combining technical leadership, project delivery and team management, with the opportunity to influence the direction of the practice as it expands.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in building structures and proven experience leading teams and delivering projects successfully. You will be commercially aware, with an understanding of project budgets, profitability and resource management, as well as the confidence to take responsibility for client relationships and project outcomes.

Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will help shape the engineering offering, support the development of staff and contribute to the strategic growth of the Leicester office. There is also scope to become increasingly involved in business development and winning new work.

The project portfolio is varied and covers a broad range of sectors, with opportunities to work on interesting schemes incorporating steel, concrete, timber and masonry.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Chartered Structural Engineer at Associate level who wants more than simply a technical role and is keen to have a genuine influence on the future growth and success of an established practice.
