Automation Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, program, and commission automated electrical control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
• Develop and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts for automated machinery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and automation issues in production environments, minimizing downtime.
• Collaborate with software engineers and mechanical teams to integrate electrical and automation components seamlessly.
• Implement safety standards and ensure compliance with all relevant electrical and automation regulations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation enhancements within the facility.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in industrial automation and control system engineering.
• Proficiency in programming various PLC platforms (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell Allen-Bradley) and HMI software.
• Strong understanding of electrical distribution, motor control, and instrumentation.
• Experience with robotics integration and industrial networking protocols is a plus.
