About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Automation Electrical Engineer to contribute to their innovative projects, primarily working remotely. This role is ideal for an engineer passionate about industrial automation, control systems, and smart manufacturing processes. You will design, implement, and maintain electrical systems for automated machinery and production lines, ensuring optimal performance, efficiency, and safety. While the role is remote-first, occasional site visits may be required for crucial on-site commissioning or troubleshooting, offering a dynamic career path in a cutting-edge field.

Key Responsibilities

• Design electrical control systems for automated machinery, including panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and component selection.
• Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs from various manufacturers.
• Develop and implement safety interlocks and procedures for automated systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in automated equipment, providing remote support and solutions.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers and software developers to integrate automation solutions.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in industrial automation and electrical engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering , Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing industrial automation electrical systems.
• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) and HMI development.
• Strong understanding of control system architecture, sensors, and actuators.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to provide remote technical support.
• Experience with robot integration and vision systems is a plus.
