Automotive Assembler

Automotive Assembler Location: Hamstead Birmingham Gross Weekly Pay: £471.00 Hours: 37 hours per week Working Days: Monday to Thursday, 6:30am – 4:15pm Job Type: Temporary We are recruiting for an assembler for an established manufacturing company based in Hamstead, Birmingham. The role involves the assembly and production of automotive radiators.

Main Duties

• Assemble components used in the manufacture of automotive radiators.
• Operate a power press to produce radiator heat fins.
• Fit and assemble cooling components.
• Pressure test completed units
• Check radiators for leaks and defects.
• Pack finished units ready for dispatch.
• Follow production instructions and health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous assembly, production or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience operating a power press is an advantage.
• Good manual skills and attention to detail.
• Able to follow instructions and production requirements. Important: Due to the 6:30am start, applicants must live locally or have their own reliable transport and be able to arrive on time. Working Hours Monday to Thursday: 6:30am – 4:15pm This is an indefinite temporary contract
