About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Automotive Body Shop Manager to lead their busy facility in Wolverhampton . This role involves overseeing all aspects of the body shop operations, from managing a team of skilled technicians to ensuring efficient workflow and maintaining the highest standards of repair quality. You will be responsible for customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and the profitability of the body shop. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and motivate a team of body shop technicians, ensuring productivity and high-quality workmanship.
- Oversee the entire repair process, from initial damage assessment and quoting to final quality checks.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and environmental policies.
- Manage workshop resources, including equipment, tools, and inventory.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor financial performance of the body shop, managing budgets and controlling costs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing an automotive body shop or similar repair facility.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle repair techniques, bodywork, and paint processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with estimating software and managing workshop operations.
