Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 3D CAD models and 2D technical drawings for automotive components and assemblies.
- Perform engineering analysis, including stress, thermal, and dynamic simulations, to validate designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, R&D, and styling, to integrate designs.
- Identify and implement design improvements to enhance product performance, reduce cost, or improve manufacturability.
- Create prototypes and oversee testing phases to validate design integrity and functionality.
- Ensure designs comply with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and customer specifications for automotive applications .
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in automotive design , with a strong portfolio of work.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., CATIA V5, SolidWorks, Siemens NX).
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and vehicle systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work creatively under pressure.
