About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and passionate Automotive Detailer to join their premium vehicle preparation team in Reading . This role requires an individual with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional cosmetic finishes on a wide range of vehicles. You will be responsible for a comprehensive range of detailing services, from thorough cleaning and decontamination to polishing, waxing, and interior rejuvenation. Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough exterior cleaning, including washing, decontamination, and drying of vehicles.
• Carry out paint correction, including machine polishing to remove swirl marks and scratches.
• Apply protective coatings such as waxes, sealants, and ceramic coatings.
• Detail vehicle interiors, including vacuuming, steam cleaning, leather conditioning, and upholstery treatment.
• Safely operate and maintain detailing equipment, such as pressure washers, polishers, and extractors.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and attention to detail in Reading .

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Automotive Detailer or in a similar car valeting role is essential.
• Knowledge of detailing chemicals, tools, and techniques.
• Ability to work with precision and a strong focus on achieving flawless results.
• Understanding of paint types and the best methods for correction and protection.
• A proactive and efficient work ethic, able to manage time effectively.
• Full UK driving license and a willingness to maintain a high standard of work.
