Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive electronic faults using advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Perform installations and upgrades of electronic components, including audio systems, navigation, and driver-assistance features.
• Test and calibrate electronic control units (ECUs) and sensors to ensure proper vehicle operation.
• Read and interpret complex wiring diagrams and technical service bulletins.
• Maintain accurate records of all diagnostic and repair work performed.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive electronic technologies and repair techniques.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician with a specialization in electronics.
• Proficiency with diagnostic scan tools, oscilloscopes, and multimeters.
• Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, including CAN bus networks and sensor technologies.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and wiring schematics.
• Relevant vocational qualifications or certifications (e.g., City & Guilds, IMI).
• A valid UK driving license and a keen eye for detail.
