Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for automotive components and systems using SolidWorks or CATIA.
• Perform mechanical stress analysis and simulations using FEA tools to validate designs under various operating conditions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to ensure designs are feasible for mass production and cost-effective.
• Conduct design reviews, present findings, and incorporate feedback from cross-functional teams.
• Investigate and resolve design-related issues encountered during prototype testing and production phases.
• Maintain and update design documentation throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical design within the automotive sector.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar) and FEA analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of material properties, manufacturing processes (e.g., stamping, injection molding), and automotive standards.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
