About the Role

Our client, a reputable automotive dealership in Stoke-on-Trent , is seeking an organized and customer-focused Automotive Parts Advisor to join their busy parts department. You will be responsible for managing inventory, accurately identifying and sourcing vehicle parts, and providing excellent service to both internal technicians and external customers. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of the service department and maintaining customer satisfaction in the Stoke-on-Trent area.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately identify and source vehicle parts required for service and repair orders using catalogs and computer systems.
• Manage parts inventory, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and conducting regular stock checks.
• Advise workshop technicians and retail customers on parts availability, compatibility, and pricing.
• Process parts orders and payments efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized parts department, ensuring all items are correctly shelved and labeled.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an automotive parts department or a similar inventory management role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle makes and models, and their associated parts.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using parts management software and basic computer applications.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment in Stoke-on-Trent .
