About the Role
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and expert Automotive Performance Tuner to join their specialized workshop in Belfast . This role is for a dedicated professional who is passionate about maximizing vehicle performance through expert tuning and calibration. You will be responsible for modifying engine management systems, enhancing power delivery, and optimizing fuel efficiency for a variety of high-performance vehicles. Key Responsibilities
- Perform ECU remapping and performance tuning for various vehicle makes and models.
- Conduct dynamometer testing to measure and analyze engine performance, power, and torque.
- Identify and rectify engine performance issues through careful calibration and adjustment.
- Advise customers on performance upgrades, modifications, and optimal tuning strategies.
- Maintain detailed records of tuning procedures, specifications, and results for each vehicle.
- Stay current with the latest tuning technologies, software, and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Performance Tuner or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of engine management systems, fuel injection, and ignition timing.
- Proficiency with ECU tuning software and hardware, including dynamometers.
- Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and performance dynamics.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in calibration.
