Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test new powertrain components and systems, including engines, transmissions, and hybrid/electric drivetrains.
• Perform performance simulations and analyses using specialized software (e.g., GT-SUITE, MATLAB/Simulink).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate powertrain solutions into vehicle platforms.
• Conduct validation testing, analyze data, and implement design improvements to meet performance and emissions targets.
• Develop and maintain technical specifications and documentation for powertrain components.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in powertrain development, including electrification and alternative fuels.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in automotive powertrain development or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of internal combustion engines, hybrid systems, or electric vehicle powertrains.
• Proficiency with powertrain simulation and analysis tools.
• Experience with testing, validation, and data acquisition methods.
