Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop powertrain components and systems, including engine, transmission, and driveline systems.
• Conduct performance simulations and analysis using specialized software tools to optimize powertrain efficiency and output.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration and production of powertrain components.
• Perform validation testing on prototype powertrains, analyzing data and recommending design improvements.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in powertrain technology, including hybrid and electric vehicle systems.
• Ensure all powertrain designs meet stringent regulatory requirements for emissions and safety.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in automotive powertrain design and development.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, combustion processes, and vehicle dynamics.
• Proficiency with powertrain simulation tools (e.g., GT-SUITE, AVL BOOST) and CAD software.
• Experience with hybrid or electric vehicle powertrain components is a plus.
