Automotive Quality Inspector

About the Role

Our client, a key manufacturer in the automotive supply chain located in Oxford , Oxfordshire, is looking for a detail-oriented Automotive Quality Inspector . In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that manufactured components and finished vehicles meet stringent quality standards and specifications. Key Responsibilities

• Inspect manufactured automotive parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
• Perform visual inspections, measurements, and functional tests as per quality control plans.
• Identify, document, and report non-conforming products or process deviations.
• Work with production teams to implement corrective actions and prevent future quality issues.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant industry standards and company quality policies.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a quality inspection role, preferably within the automotive manufacturing sector.
• Familiarity with quality control tools, techniques, and measurement equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to inspection.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to document findings clearly and concisely.
• Understanding of quality management systems such as ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 is advantageous for this role in Oxford .
