Automotive Software Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented Automotive Software Engineer to contribute to the development of next-generation vehicle software systems. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software for automotive control units and embedded systems.
• Implement software components according to specified requirements and automotive standards (e.g., AUTOSAR, ISO 26262).
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and system architects to define software requirements and integration strategies.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization activities.
• Develop and execute unit tests and integration tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in embedded software development, preferably within the automotive industry .
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages and experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, or Ethernet.
• Understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools.
