Key Responsibilities
- Define system requirements, architecture, and interfaces for complex automotive systems.
- Integrate various subsystems (e.g., powertrain, chassis, electronics) to ensure seamless operation.
- Develop and execute system-level validation plans and test procedures.
- Analyze system performance data and identify areas for optimization and improvement.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Manage system-level risks and ensure compliance with relevant safety and regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and develop effective solutions.
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Significant experience (6+ years) in automotive systems engineering or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of automotive architectures and sub-systems.
- Proficiency in systems engineering tools and methodologies (e.g., Model-Based Systems Engineering - MBSE).
- Experience with automotive communication protocols and diagnostic tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and influence cross-functional teams.
