You will be responsible for conducting MOT tests efficiently and accurately, performing any necessary repairs identified during the test, and carrying out general vehicle maintenance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct MOT tests on a variety of vehicle classes according to DVSA regulations.
• Identify defects and advise customers on necessary repairs and maintenance to pass the MOT.
• Perform vehicle repairs as required, ensuring all work meets manufacturer standards and safety requirements.
• Complete all relevant paperwork and update vehicle records accurately using the workshop system.
• Provide excellent customer service, explaining test results and repair recommendations clearly.
• Maintain the testing bay and equipment to the highest standards of safety and cleanliness.

Requirements

• Valid MOT Tester accreditation for relevant vehicle classes.
• NVQ Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience working as an Automotive Technician, with strong diagnostic and repair skills.
• Thorough knowledge of MOT testing procedures and current legislation.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet testing schedules.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
