£35,000-£45,000 | Monday-Friday
A long‑standing independent service centre in Haywards Heath is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their workshop team. This role suits someone who takes pride in high‑quality workmanship and enjoys a varied, steady workflow in a well‑run workshop environment.
Role Responsibilities
Vehicle servicing and routine maintenance across multiple makes and models.
Diagnostics using modern tools to identify and resolve faults accurately.
Mechanical repairs including brakes, suspension, clutches, exhausts and general component replacement.
MOT preparation and repair work to DVSA standards.
Occasional customer communication to explain findings clearly and professionally.
Maintaining a safe, organised and compliant workshop environment.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic.
Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding ability.
Ability to work independently and within a small, efficient team.
High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
Full UK driving licence.
Package
£35,000-£45,000 basic salary depending on experience.
Monday-Friday working hours.
