Job Description
We are seeking a PDI / Sales Vehicle Technician to join a reputable family-run car dealership located in Haywards Heath. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced motor trade professional to contribute to a busy workshop environment with a focus on high-quality pre-delivery inspection (PDI) work and sales vehicle preparation. Benefits:
Competitive salary ranging from £35,000 to £40,000, commensurate with experience
Overtime opportunities for motivated technicians
Full-time, PAYE employment including pension contributions
Flexible working hours: options between 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm, with paid lunch breaks

20 days holiday plus bank holidaysPDI / Sales Vehicle Technician Duties:
Carrying out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new and used vehicles
Servicing and repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards
Diagnosing vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic equipment, including Launch scanners
Performing routine maintenance such as brake, tyre, and general repairs
Conducting sales prep work for used vehicles
Maintaining accurate records of diagnostics and repairs
Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations
Assisting in vehicle quality control to ensure customer satisfactionRequirements:
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a dealership or equivalent setting
Relevant qualifications such as Level 3 Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Experience with hybrid and electric vehicle diagnostics is highly desirable
Strong understanding of diagnostic systems and tools
Excellent attention to detail and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, flexible, and committed to delivering high standards of work
