About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Aviation Operations Manager to oversee and optimize flight operations from their strategic base in Birmingham . This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient execution of all flight schedules, managing ground operations, and coordinating with various stakeholders, including flight crews, air traffic control, and regulatory bodies. You will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence and customer satisfaction within a demanding aviation environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day flight operations, including flight planning, dispatch, and schedule adherence.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Coordinate effectively with ground handling, maintenance, and customer service teams to facilitate seamless operations.
• Monitor operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement efficiency enhancements.
• Handle operational disruptions and emergencies, developing and executing contingency plans as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in aviation operations management or a similar supervisory role within the aviation sector.
