About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Aviation Procurement Specialist to manage and optimize their supply chain operations in Bristol . You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing a wide range of aviation-related materials, components, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery. This role is critical in maintaining the operational efficiency and competitiveness of the organisation within the demanding aviation market.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and select suppliers for aviation parts, equipment, and services, ensuring adherence to quality and regulatory standards.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance, and compliance throughout the procurement lifecycle.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with aviation regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and manage inventory levels effectively.

Requirements

• Proven experience in procurement , specifically within the aviation or aerospace industry.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Familiarity with aviation regulations and quality standards related to sourcing.
• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CIPS) are an advantage.
