About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned and results-driven Aviation Project Manager to lead key initiatives within their expanding operations in Edinburgh . You will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and closure of complex aviation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of the aviation sector's unique challenges and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
• Ensure effective communication and reporting to all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee the procurement process and manage relationships with external vendors and contractors.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager , with a significant track record in the aviation industry .
• Demonstrated success in managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile).
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
• A degree in a relevant field such as Aviation Management, Engineering, or Business Administration.
