Aviation Quality Assurance Inspector

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Aviation Quality Assurance Inspector to join their team in Derby . You will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities meet stringent regulatory, airworthiness, and company standards. This critical role involves conducting detailed inspections, audits, and reviews to maintain the highest levels of safety and compliance within the aviation MRO sector, operating under a hybrid work model.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of aircraft, components, and documentation during and after maintenance, repair, or overhaul.
• Verify that all work is performed in accordance with approved technical data, regulations, and company procedures.
• Conduct audits of workshops, tool calibration, and material control processes.
• Investigate quality deviations, non-conformances, and customer complaints, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection activities, findings, and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant aviation authorities' regulations (e.g., EASA, CAA).

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Inspector in the aviation industry.
• EASA Part-66 AML or equivalent technical qualifications preferred.
• Strong understanding of aviation regulations, airworthiness requirements, and quality management systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site inspections in Derby with remote administrative tasks.
