About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Aviation Quality Assurance Specialist to join their team in Cambridge . In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aviation products and services meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. You will conduct rigorous inspections, audits, and process reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with aviation standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
• Conduct regular internal audits of processes, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Perform inspections of materials, components, and finished products to verify adherence to specifications and quality requirements.
• Investigate quality discrepancies and non-conformances, identifying root causes and recommending corrective and preventative actions.
• Maintain detailed records of quality assurance activities, including audit findings, inspection results, and corrective action status.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent industry experience.
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist in the aviation or aerospace industry .
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and auditing techniques.
• Familiarity with aviation regulations and standards pertinent to manufacturing and maintenance.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and strong written and verbal communication abilities.
