About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and proactive Aviation Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join their expanding team in Cardiff . This role is essential for ensuring that all company operations and products adhere to the complex and evolving landscape of aviation regulations, both domestically and internationally. You will be responsible for monitoring regulatory changes, advising stakeholders, and ensuring compliance across various departments. This hybrid position allows for a balance of in-office collaboration and remote work, supporting a dynamic team dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of aviation governance and operational integrity within the thriving Welsh aviation community.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, interpret, and disseminate information on current and upcoming aviation regulations from bodies such as the CAA, EASA, and FAA.
• Prepare, submit, and manage applications for certifications, permits, and approvals required for company operations and aircraft.
• Develop and maintain company policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant aviation legislation.
• Conduct internal audits and gap analyses to identify areas of non-compliance and propose corrective actions.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities, providing responses to inquiries and facilitating inspections.
• Provide expert guidance and training to internal teams on regulatory requirements and best practices.

Requirements

• Degree in Law, Aviation Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in regulatory affairs , ideally within the aviation industry.
• Comprehensive understanding of international and UK aviation law and certification processes.
• Experience with regulatory submission processes and interaction with aviation authorities.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex regulatory information clearly.
