Aviation Security Officer

About the Role

Our client is seeking vigilant and reliable Aviation Security Officers to ensure the safety and security of operations at Norwich Airport. You will play a crucial role in preventing unauthorized access, detecting security threats, and responding to incidents. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct security screenings of passengers, baggage, and cargo using advanced screening equipment.
• Patrol airport premises, aircraft, and facilities to deter and detect security breaches.
• Monitor CCTV systems and respond to alarms and security alerts promptly.
• Enforce airport security regulations and procedures, challenging any non-compliance.
• Report suspicious activities and incidents accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a security or law enforcement role is preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain relevant security clearances and airport-specific certifications.
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with the public and colleagues in Norwich .
• Physical fitness to perform duties including prolonged standing and patrolling.
