Aviation Security Officer

About the Role

Our client is seeking dedicated and vigilant Aviation Security Officers to maintain a safe and secure environment at their facility in Wolverhampton . You will play a critical role in implementing security procedures, conducting screenings, and responding to security incidents to protect passengers, staff, and assets. This position requires a high level of integrity, alertness, and the ability to follow strict protocols in a high-pressure operational setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct passenger and baggage screening using X-ray machines and other security equipment.
• Perform access control duties, checking identification and authorization for entry.
• Patrol airport areas to ensure security and detect any potential threats or irregularities.
• Respond to and manage security incidents in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor CCTV systems and report suspicious activities.
• Enforce aviation security regulations and company policies consistently.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a security or law enforcement role is advantageous.
• Ability to pass comprehensive background checks and obtain necessary security clearances.
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical fitness to perform duties, including standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required in Wolverhampton .
