Our client is recruiting for a highly skilled Avionics Engineer to join their dedicated team based in Milton Keynes . This role is fundamental to the design, integration, testing, and certification of sophisticated avionics systems for next-generation aircraft. You will work at the forefront of aviation technology, tackling challenging engineering problems and ensuring the seamless operation of navigation, communication, and flight control systems. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement avionics systems, including communication, navigation, and flight control systems.
- Conduct system integration, testing, and validation to ensure performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex avionics hardware and software issues.
- Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and certification data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and manufacturing personnel.
- Stay abreast of the latest avionics technologies and industry standards.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Significant experience in avionics system design, integration, and testing.
- Proficiency with avionics testing equipment and simulation tools.
- Familiarity with relevant aerospace standards (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent technical communication skills.
