Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement avionic systems, including communication, navigation, surveillance, and flight control systems.
- Conduct system integration, testing, and validation activities to ensure compliance with aerospace standards and customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to avionics hardware and software throughout the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, hardware engineers, and certification specialists, to deliver integrated solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, reports, and certification evidence.
- Stay abreast of emerging avionics technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance system performance and capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in avionics systems design, integration, and testing within the aerospace sector.
- Proficiency with avionics standards such as ARINC, DO-178C, and DO-254.
- Experience with simulation tools and laboratory testing equipment for avionics systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, hybrid environment in Coventry .
