About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Avionics Systems Specialist to join their dynamic engineering department located in Coventry . In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced avionics systems across various aircraft types. You will work collaboratively with flight crews, engineering teams, and regulatory bodies to ensure the optimal performance and compliance of all avionic equipment. Key Responsibilities
- Install, test, calibrate, and repair a wide range of avionics equipment, including navigation, communication, and flight control systems.
- Diagnose and resolve complex electronic and electrical faults, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and technical documentation.
- Interpret and adhere to aircraft maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on system upgrades, modifications, and integration projects.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance within the Coventry facility.
Requirements
- A recognized qualification in Avionics, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Proven experience working with modern aircraft avionics systems (e.g., GPS, ILS, TCAS, FMS).
- Proficiency in using electronic test equipment and interpreting schematics.
- Familiarity with aviation regulatory requirements (e.g., EASA, CAA).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
