B2b Lead Generation Executive

We are seeking a confident, commercially minded B2B Lead Generation Executive to identify and develop new business opportunities for an established specialist landscaping company.

Outbound calling will be an important part of the role. You will take a considered, research-led approach: identifying target organisations and decision-makers, gathering accurate contact information and making relevant, well-informed approaches.

Your focus will be on starting genuine business conversations, uncovering potential projects and creating a strong pipeline of appointments, enquiries and future prospects. This is not a closing or estimating role. Success will be measured by the quality of opportunities identified, meetings and site surveys secured, and tender opportunities generated.

Key responsibilities of the B2b Lead Generation Executive role:

• Research target companies, sectors and geographical areas to identify suitable prospects.

• Identify relevant decision-makers and source accurate telephone numbers and email addresses.

• Make professional outbound B2B calls to prospective customers.

• Investigate and pursue construction projects identified through purchased industry leads.

• Secure introductory meetings and site surveys for the wider commercial team.

• Follow up previous enquiries, dormant prospects and marketing campaigns.

• Record conversations, insights and future opportunities accurately in the CRM.

• Monitor activity and help identify which sectors, lead sources and campaigns deliver the strongest results.

To be considered for the B2b Lead Gernation Executive role:

You will ideally have experience in B2B telemarketing, lead generation, business development or outbound sales. Knowledge of the construction, fit-out or specification markets would be advantageous.

You will also be:

• Confident, credible and comfortable speaking on the telephone.

• Naturally conversational, professional and skilled at building rapport.

• Persistent without being pushy, with the patience to manage longer sales cycles.

• Comfortable engaging managers and senior decision-makers.

• Curious, commercially aware and confident asking thoughtful questions.

• Organised and accurate, with strong attention to detail.

• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.

Preferred experience: At least two years’ outbound lead-generation experience.

This varied role offers the opportunity to explore different markets, test new campaigns and build genuine long-term business opportunities. If you enjoy the investigative side of lead generation as much as speaking to people, we would like to hear from you.

Salary and location

• Salary: £35,000–£40,000 per year

• Location: King’s Lynn, PE34 3EN

• Working arrangement: In person with some hybrid working
