Job Description
We’re recruiting for an experienced Bandsaw / Cutting Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business in Wirksworth on a permanent basis.

You'll be part of a busy production team, playing a key role in preparing materials for CNC processing.

Pay Rate:
- £29,348 per annum + overtime (time +½)
Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 8am – 4:30pm
Main Duties of a Bandsaw / Cutting Operator:
- Operating bandknife / bandsaw machinery to cut materials accurately
- Preparing materials ready for CNC processing
- Working from technical drawings and measurements
- Ensuring maximum material utilisation and minimal waste
- Maintaining high quality and health & safety standards
- Supporting across production where needed
Experience required:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience using bandsaw, bandknife, or similar cutting machinery
- Confident working from drawings and measurements
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Background in manufacturing / production environments
- Reliable, hands-on, and team-focused
